  • The exhibition explores the lives of 17 women from the worlds of literature, culture, science, sport and politics who, from Olympe de Gouges onwards, have marked the history of the advancement of human rights through their acts of resistance, or through their actions, a breakthrough for equality between women and men.
    The common thread is the 17-article "Declaration of the Rights of Women and the Citizen" written by Olympe de Gouges in 1791, never officially adopted, but bearing precepts...
