From CE21 to CM2Program
Day 1: Arrival in the morning at your accommodation. Settling in at the center.
Picnic lunch (not provided).
Snow games and igloo building, learning and applying the technique of building an igloo together (cooperative work) & ski equipment.
Day 2: Morning: Introduction to Nordic skiing: finding your balance and discovering the first sensations of sliding before finding the best position on gentle slopes.
Afternoon: Discovery of village life, architecture and specific features of a mountain village.
Evening: slide show on life as a shepherd and cheese-making.
Day 3: Nordic skiing day (Biathlon) on the Plateau de BEILLE at an altitude of 1800 m, with picnic: further training, turn-step technique.
(Option for CM1-CM2: introduction to biathlon).
Evening: slide show on the isard
Day 4: Morning: Isards, approach and observation of a wild Pyrenean animal.
Afternoon: A fun snowshoeing tour of undulating, unspoilt terrain: races, jumps, slides and learning the safety rules for winter hiking.
Day 5: Orienteering course on the old terraces, 10 markers to find on a map

Observation and study of the landscape, from a path overlooking the whole valley, analysis and reproduction of the landscape to understand how man has adapted to the environment.

Water, a natural energy resource, Hydroelectricity, field study of the various structures of a hydroelectric installation.
