The chapel was built in 1607, in nine months, following a public subscription on behalf of the Pénitents bleus brotherhood. It features a 17th-century Pyrenean-style gilded wooden altarpiece, statues, woodwork and numerous other listed items. The chapel has undergone successive additions and renovations.
