The masterly porch of the Bédeilhac cave is a call to explore its treasures! Discover an extraordinary subterranean landscape of immense chambers and spectacular concretions. On this journey, you'll meet Cro-Magnon, who decorated the cave 16,000 years ago, using a variety of techniques as astonishing as they are rare, including painting, engraving and clay modelling. He even left his handprint.
A guided tour of the cave takes around 1h30, and conservation rules are strict in order to preserve the site, so walking sticks, walking sticks, baby carriages and photography are not allowed. Baby carriers and backpacks are permitted.
