As part of the regional arts projects in Haute-Ariège, we are delighted to welcome the MégaSuperThéâtre Company, which is ready to tackle the winding mountain roads for a bicycle tour of its show “Montanhar” (theater, storytelling, and polyphonic singing).
A story told and sung about a climb, based on René Daumal’s *The Analogical Mountain* and polyphonic songs from the folk traditions of the Pyrenees.
Montanhar is the story of a climb that is as much physical as it is spiritual. A story told after a good day’s hike, a hearty dinner, by the fireside. The story of a group that takes a wild gamble by believing in the existence of a mountain that is said to be the highest ever seen and that rests on a continent invisible to the human eye. It is the story of how this group came together as a team, of their adventure.
