The Ariege Pyrenees Tourist Office is currently working to obtain the new Destination d’excellence label. This will replace the “Qualité Tourisme” mark from May 2024. In addition to the quality of the welcome and services provided, which is a key priority for the sector, this label will also raise the bar in terms of eco-responsibility.
Category 1 classification
Our Tourist Office is classified as Category 1, a classification that will be renewed in 2025 for a period of 5 years. This classification is the highest distinction to which a Tourist Office can aspire. It is in line with our desire to always satisfy our visitors and with our commitment to the Destination d’Excellence approach.
Accueil Vélo label
The aim of the national “Accueil Vélo” label is to provide a clear and easily identifiable designation for services aimed at cycling tourists along cycle routes, cycle paths and greenways. The mark applies in particular to accommodation, tourist sites, cycle hire and repair outlets, etc.
Our Information Points in Tarascon, Vicdessos and Les Cabannes have been awarded the Accueil Vélo label, with the aim of offering cyclists a range of services to make their 2-wheeled journeys easier:
