Climbing guides

Five guidebooks, on sale for €6.50 each at the Tourist Office, highlight the most beautiful routes for you.

No. 1 From One Village to Another in the Ax Valleys: 23 walks lasting between 1h30 and 4h30 on signposted trails that guide you on a journey of discovery through the heritage of our villages.

No. 2 Lakes and Streams in the Ax Valleys: 20 mountain hikes lasting from 2 hours to 6 hours along signposted trails, following the course of the water to the most beautiful lakes and a few prestigious peaks that are easy to reach.

“Walks in the Tarascon Region” – 22 routes.

“Hikes in the Auzat-Vicdessos Valley” – 22 routes.

“Hikes in Donezan” – 21 routes

What’s more, to help you get started or enable you to go further, staffed mountain huts and gîtes where you can stop off mean you can shorten the length of your walks.

Bouldering guidebook for Orlu on sale for €4 at the Tourist Office

Set in the shade of a beech forest and beside the cool waters of the River Oriège, the Orlu bouldering site is suitable for climbers of all abilities (boulders from 1.5m in height). More experienced climbers should bring their own crash pad.

A mountain bike guidebook is on sale for €4 at the Tourist Office.

The FFC MTB area comprises 231 km of MTB trails certified by the French Cycling Federation.
