From CE1 to CM2Program
Day 1:
Block 1: Knowing how to pedal: mastering the fundamentals of cycling
(2 to 5h depending on the observed level of the children)
The aim is to acquire good balance and learn to drive and steer your bike correctly: pedaling, turning, braking.
This first learning period enables the instructor to cover the
technical fundamentals of cycling in a closed environment.
Day 2:
Block 2: Knowing how to get around: discovering mobility in a safe environment (3h)
The aim of this second learning period is to pass on skills linked to road safety in a closed environment.
It involves knowing the rules of bicycle mobility, communicating to inform others of a desire to change direction and discovering the signs of the highway code.
Visit of the Aston aquaculture farm: by bike from the Oustalous center
-the importance of water and the quality of that of the Aston river
-the operation of a fish farm (defeuilleur, basins, feeding, small equipment….)
the life of salmonids on our farm (from egg to processing)
Pond fishing: Introduction to fishing.
Discovering an outdoor activity while developing qualities such as patience, calmness and observation.
Explanation on the use of equipment, bait, the importance of calmness and observation. We provide the fishing equipment and each child will be able to catch 2 trout. Help from the on-site leader and supervisors.
Trout can be taken away or left on site.
Day 3:
Block 3: Knowing how to RIDE a bike: Getting around in a real situation (2h to 5h depending on the time spent on block 1).
The aim is to learn how to ride independently on public roads and to appropriate the various practice areas.
The Les Oustalous welcome center is located in the village of Les Cabanes, 16 km from the Plateau de Beille.
Full-board accommodation from dinner on the 1st day to lunch on the last day.
Meals provided by a caterer.

Bike rental with helmet, Aston fish farm and pond fishing.
Transportation from the school as well as travel to Foix.
