The Association has set itself the goal of safeguarding the remains of the medieval fortress and enhancing the site, by assisting the relevant authorities.
As the site is protected as a "Historic Monument", simple brush-cutting operations are a matter for specialists, and the good will of all concerned has not been fully forthcoming...
In summer, the association regularly organizes evening events at the foot of the castle, illuminated for the occasion, featuring singers, choirs and Pyrenean storytellers.
It also takes part in the annual Heritage Days in September.
