(D/A) - Station de Beille. Go through the gate beside the wooden chalet and turn left onto the wide track that climbs to the top of the plateau.

Go straight up its left-hand slope, where you'll find a grassy path that quickly widens out and reaches the "4 chemins" crossroads.

0h30 - Follow the right-hand track leading to the Piparlan hut, which is skirted to the right.

1:00 - A sharp left-hand bend takes you back to a track that descends steeply into the forest and then climbs back up to the resort.
