It's the perfect stop-off point for climbing the Montcalm (3077m) and Pique d'Estats (3143m) peaks. From here, a 360° view of the Vicdessos valley and Spain awaits you.

When not guarded, part of the refuge is open for self-catering, with a capacity of 18 people. A charge of €8 applies.
