Come and discover the unique history of the Rancié mine.
A cultural walk for young and old, with explanatory panels on one of the Val de Sos valley's rich industrial heritage.
You'll follow a short hiking trail with a vertical drop of around 400 m, along which you'll go back in time.
You can hike all or part of it. You'll learn how the Rancié massif was worked to extract its primary resource, iron ore.
Long considered the most important iron mine in the Pyrenees, it employed up to 400 miners in the 19th century.
