To boost the desire to take the train, the Region is going one step further following the success of its 1 euro TER initiative. From now on, this fare will apply every first weekend of the month throughout the year.

To reach Tarascon-sur-Ariège

From Toulouse: take the A61 freeway towards Montpellier-Foix, then branch off onto the A66 towards Pamiers. At the Pamiers freeway exit, take the 2×2 lane expressway towards Foix-Andorre (Tarascon-sur-Ariège 40 km and Auzat 55 km away).

From Bordeaux: take the A62 freeway to Toulouse, then the A61, direction Montpellier-Foix. Take the A66 towards Pamiers.
At the Pamiers freeway exit, take the 2×2 lane expressway towards Foix-Andorre (Tarascon-sur-Ariège 40 km and Auzat 55 km away).

From Montpellier: take the A61 freeway towards Toulouse, then turn off onto the A66 towards Pamiers. At the Pamiers freeway exit, take the 2×2 lane expressway towards Foix-Andorre (Tarascon-sur-Ariège 40 km and Auzat 55 km away).

From Toulouse: A61, towards Carcassonne, take direction Limoux, Quillan (160 km, 2h30)

From Perpignan: D117, towards Foix, Estagel, D118 towards Axat, Quérigut (90km, 1h30)

From Carcassonne: take direction Limoux, Quillan, Axat (90 km, 1h40)

From Montpellier: A9, via Perpignan then D117 and D118 towards Axat, Quérigut (240 km, 3h)

From Barcelona: follow Manresa, Del Cadi tunnel, Puigcerdá, Boug-Madame, Formiguères (210 km, 2h50)
