A plunge into medieval history
During 2 guided tours, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., you'll plunge into the rich and eventful history of this exceptional site. You'll discover the remains of the fortified enclosure, keep and towers, and learn about the strategic role played by Montréal-de-Sos in the defense of the county of Foix.

As well as learning about the site's history, you'll also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The view from the fortress is simply breathtaking!

Guided tours of the Montréal-de-Sos fortress are open to all. They last around 1h30 and are relatively easy to get to. Departure is from the hamlet of Olbier.
