Take advantage of this visit to discover the industrial heritage of the Vicdessos valley. The 66-meter-high dam is part of EDF Hydro Auzat, a group of plants that produces an average of 427 GWh per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of a town with a population of around 200,000.
Flooding is ensured by a 65 m-high cylindrical reinforced concrete structure known as the "Tulip". Its original, artistic architecture makes it a local curiosity!
