Magda is a schoolteacher and mother of a 10-year-old boy. She is struggling to cope with the loss of her job and the departure of her husband. But when she is diagnosed with breast cancer, rather than give up, she decides to live every moment to the full. She makes the most of her son, her caring doctor and a man she's only just met. Her fight against illness will give rise to a great love story between all these characters.
