Hector was born in 1932 on a small farm in the heart of Béarn. He lived through the post-war agricultural boom. It was around the kitchen table, shortly before his death, that he confided his extraordinary story to me. A sensitive, poetic and historical tale of abundance, fall, wandering and rising again...
Suitable for all ages 8 and up
