Nearly 5,000 musicians, now amateurs or professionals, have come to Ariège to perfect their art. From Mado Souquet, thanks to Aline Romeu and Claude Aynié, to Marie José Dandine, all the elected representatives have always supported the artistic projects of the Stages de Musique en Ariège.

notes and ... more notes... 40 years of existence, more than just a loyalty to music! The workshops have brought together thousands of music-lovers... Nearly 5,000 people came to play their notes during 112 workshops. That's 1,240 days of music, or 3 consecutive years of music! of this success. Since 1983, some 560 free concerts have been offered to locals and tourists alike. This fortieth anniversary of music courses in Ariège, inviting some forty artists who have contributed to the success and construction of this cultural edifice, offers an exceptional series of free concerts in a number of churches in the Val de Sos valley and the Tarasconnais region. All these artists are delighted to be able to bring their concerts to Ariège, a land of mountains and cultures.
