Canyoning is a fun way to discover the mountains and their associated landscapes! The sites are veritable playgrounds where sensations rhyme with discovery. Supervised by instructors from the Bureau des Guides des Pyrénées Ariégeoises, canyoning trips are synonymous with abseiling, jumps, slides, swimming and, above all, fun!
Here are the canyoning activities supervised by the Bureau des Guides des Pyrénées Ariégeoises :
- Canyon des Mounges (1/2 day): This canyoning trip is designed to introduce you to canyoning in the Ax Valleys. Ideal for family discovery!
- Canyon de l'Argensou Inférieur (1/2 day): Would you like to discover canyoning? This outing is for you, with the discovery of the Canyon de l'Argensou Inférieur, ideal for children and beginners!
- Canyon de la Freyte (1/2 day): The new kid on the block. Situated at the foot of the Pic des Trois Seigneurs, in the heart of a magnificent fir and beech forest dotted with moss. Suitable for children aged 8 and over, it's ideal for families or those wishing to discover the activity more gently.
- Canyon de Marc (1/2 day): this is the trip that combines all the facets of canyoning, with its zip lines, abseiling and jumps. All this in the heart of what is surely the most beautiful gorge in the département.
- Canyon de l'Artigue (1 day): One of the region's must-see canyons, it combines large slides, zip lines and sublime scenery! The clear water will leave you with unforgettable memories!
- Canyon de l'Argensou Intégral (1 day): Recently revived, this outing focuses on rope autonomy, and is characterized by its educational character.
- Canyon de Subra (1 day): Although there are no major difficulties, a little abseiling experience is required for this activity, which combines a plant and mineral atmosphere.
- Canyon de l'Escales (1 day): This little-frequented canyon retains a wild side that's great for a change of scenery and fun!
- Canyon d'Orlu (1 day): Located just a few meters below the Orlu accrobranche, this canyon is a great place to discover with friends from the end of July. Water is the main feature of this canyon, with recurrent river crossings!
- Canyon d'Estat (1 day): Tobogganing and waterfalls characterize this long canyon, which is constantly under the sun!
- Rando Aqua (1/2 day): A canyon accessible to all, ideal for discovering canyoning at an early age or with the whole family! No big abseils or dizzying jumps here!
