Day 1:
Morning: Discovery of the center, presentation of the stay and installation. Visit of the village
in the form of an orientation game that allows you to discover the specific features of a mountain village.
Afternoon: Water in Suc: a wealth to be preserved
Observation of the water cycle, its journey, from its source until it is used and discharged by man. Disparities in access to this resource, pollution and preservation.
2nd Day:
Day trip to Port de Lers “ecosystems and biodiversity” with picnic
The Bernadouze peat bog (discovery of the biodiversity of a particular ecosystem, playful observation of the environment and identification of its various specific animal and plant species), aquatic fauna-water quality workshop (identification of animals indicating pollution levels and water quality), Freychinède beech forest (tree identification and forest management), walk on the Port de Lers estives (observation and landscape study, pastoralism and transhumance)
3rd Day:
Morning: Energy
Investigative approach (questioning, workshops, experiments…) to understand the complexity of the concept of energy: definition of energy, energy in the human body, different forms and sources of energy, consumption and control of energy resources.
Afternoon: Water as a natural energy resource, hydroelectricity
Field study of the various components of a hydroelectric installation to understand its basic operating principles.
Exceptional location, in the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises, in the heart of the Montcalm Massif, at an altitude of 1,000 meters, on the southern slope of the Vicdessos Valley, on the edge of the village of Suc.
80 beds (30 rooms from 2 to 6 beds) – dining room with terrace (grandiose panorama) – 4 activity rooms with internet access – warm, friendly setting (relaxation area & video, library, fireplace area) – large playground.
