Mountain Robinsons Stay

From CE2 to CM2

Nature, pleasure, discovery, the Mountain Robinsons will be led to live a positive experience of collective life through solidarity, complicity and respect for others.

Red thread: making the walking stick and its use.

From the start of the stay, each child will make his or her own walking stick that will enable him or her to experience all the adventures of the stay.

Program

Several workshops:

Robinson’s route: No mountain adventure without knowing your way around: using a roadmap and a compass, children find objects hidden in the forest in the form of a treasure hunt.

Learning: Use of the compass (azimuth, cardinal points) and discovery of mountain survival objects (stove, tool, torch…)

Propelling shot : To hunt, Robinson built the same hunting weapons as prehistoric man. Children discover this technique and learn to repeat these gestures, over 30000 years old.

Learning: Adaptation of man to his environment. Evolution of hunting tools through the ages. Motor skills and coordination.

In the footsteps of forest dwellers: To find his prey, Robinson had to know how to read all the tracks left by animals in the forest. Children learn to recognize footprints, hairs, traces of meals and passages.

Learning: Walk, observation of flora and fauna.

Program:

Day 1: Making the walking stick.
Day 2: 2 workshops to choose from: thruster shooting, Robinson course or animal tracks and clues.
Day 3: Day hike with the walking stick.
