At the foot of the castle ruins, an orientation table will help you discover all the villages in the upper Vicdessos valley, where the mountains are exceptionally beautiful and unobstructed.
A 15-minute approach walk from the village entrance will take you to the orientation table and the remains of the château, which was one of the most important in the county of Foix, and a major site for archaeological studies and excavations, whose artefacts can be found at the Maison des Patrimoines in Auzat.
