Main sector: from Auzat, follow signs for Marc, then turn right 200 m after leaving the village of Auzat, to find a parking lot with a few benches. The first tracks are opposite, 5 minutes up the path.
Montcalm: from the parking lot (10 mins), turn left immediately onto a level track. After 500 m, take a path to the right, just before a footbridge, which takes 5 minutes to reach the first routes.
Le Far: from Auzat, head towards Marc. 700 m after the parking lot at the school rock, park on a wide, open flat area to the right of the road. Reach the nearby equestrian center bridge to cross the river, and just after, take the horizontal path to the right. 50 m further on, take a small path to the left that leads in 5 minutes to a scree slope and the cliff.
Pilier des vents: from Auzat, follow signs for Marc, pass the equestrian center and stop at the parking lot for the Bassiès refuge. On foot, take the GR10 to the private road of the Bassiès power station, and follow it to the terminus (40 mins.), then take the old aqueduct on the right to a pylon. Pass over the pylon and follow an old path with cairns, crossing 2 streams (25 mins). Beware of steep, tricky sections. The routes start on the pillar after the second stream.
N.B.: Numerous mountain routes on beautiful high-altitude granite at La Madelon, Pic de Sauve and Pic Rouge de Belcaire.
