Rock climbing: a symbiosis between man and rock.

Here, the rock has something for everyone—from children eager to see the world from a new perspective to athletes seeking extreme challenges. From limestone to granite, come discover the many climbing routes in the Upper Ariège Valley. Climbing takes place indoors or at natural limestone and granite sites set amid stunning, wide-open landscapes. Magnificent mountain scenery awaits you. Come share unforgettable moments with us in complete safety. This activity is accessible to everyone. For information and registration, visit the Adventure Course or the Montcalm Aventure information chalet in Vicdessos Monday through Sunday. Access on foot: Plan to walk to the cliff or boulder areas Equipment to bring: Season-appropriate clothing, athletic shoes, hair tied back, water. Equipment provided: Harness, helmet, technical gear (belay system, rope), climbing shoes Groups: 4 to 10 people per instructor.
