Composting is accessible to everyone.

Composting is good for the planet and for your wallet! By composting, you reduce the weight of your household waste bin by 30%, which means less waste to process and fewer bin-hauls. To facilitate this practice, the municipality and the Smectom du Plantaurel have set up a shared composting point, to make it accessible to everyone. All the bins are fitted with rodent-proof grids. The Smectom regularly maintains these bins. The Smectom provides you with ‘bioseaux’, small kitchen bins for storing your kitchen waste for composting. You can collect them from the Town Hall reception desk.
