The refuge is located on the Chioula Nordic ski area. Here you can enjoy a good meal - the products are always of the highest quality - or take a break and enjoy an omelette, a sandwich or a drink.
Four meal formulas are available:
*Complete: starter, main course, cheese and dessert
*Assiette montagnarde: baked potato with cheese and salad.

Access
- The refuge is not accessible by car.
In winter, it is accessible by snowshoe or cross-country ski, starting from the ski resort reception area. The Tétras and Orri blue runs provide easy access to the refuge in around 30 minutes to an hour.
In summer, you can reach the refuge on foot in 45 minutes via the marked trails from the resort reception building, or by mountain bike, on horseback or with a donkey.
For hikers,
. The refuge is located on the sentier des Bonshommes (GR107).
Topo guide reference: topo guide n°2 lacs et torrents on sale at the tourist office. Hike n°32, starting from Montaillou.
. Arriving by train from Ax-les-Thermes, a signposted path leads from Ax-les-Thermes to the refuge, about 3 hours' walk.
For mountain bikers, the refuge is located on the "Grande Traversée Ariège-Pyrénées à VTT" linking the Ax Valleys to Saint-Girons. 12 VTT-FFC signposted circuits in the Ax Valleys and the "Aude Pyrénées" pass close to the refuge.
