The Jean Duvernoy historic center houses the objects found and catalogued during the excavation campaigns carried out on the site of the former Château de Montaillou.
History as seen by the great historians, Catharism and the Inquisition are presented on parchment-shaped picture rails. There's plenty of pictorial documentation and temporary historical reference points. The Cathar period is explored through the findings of excavations carried out several decades earlier and a large-scale model.
