The purpose of this association is:
To support people who lack sufficient writing skills, as well as illiterate individuals. To help bridge the semantic and digital divides. To promote writing, reading, literature, and songwriting in all forms: creation, design, publication, editing, promotion, communication, distribution… To advocate for the profession of Public Writer. To promote and advocate for Authors and Illustrators. Building bridges between writing and other art forms. Defending linguistic heritage, particularly the Occitan language.
The association’s means of action are: Workshops / Internships / Drop-in Sessions / Courses and Training. Conferences / Meetings. Organization of events (Festi'Scrib, fairs, exhibitions, concerts, readings, debates, Table à Confidences, Prête-Plume, Estivades Poétiques, Festi'Slam…). Participation in events. Sale and/or consignment sale of books, CDs, and all media related to the association’s mission.
