(D/A) From the port of Lers, at 1517m, the path, opposite the milestone, winds through the lawns. It then veers to the left and enters a steep slope. Follow the ridge line.

h40 - PIC DE FONTANETTE (2002m). Climb to the Pic de Barrès at 2043m. Then move away from the ridgeline, shifting to the right on the flank of the massif.

h20 - Below the Massif des Trois Seigneurs ridgeline. To reach the peak, go right. A few hairpin bends quickly bring you back to the ridgeline, which you follow to the right.

h30 - PIC DES TROIS SEIGNEURS (2199m). The return loop takes you back to the ridgeline. Join the upper part of a talweg. A small stream runs through it, so continue a little to the left. Follow the path between boulders. On the left, the path slips into the notch of the stream.

h20 - ETANG D'ARBU (1726m). Follow the signs.

h00 - PONT DE GANIOULE (1410m). Cross the bridge. Follow the valley side. You ford the different branches of the Biert stream.
