L'Ariégeoise, created in 1995 to celebrate the arrival of the Tour de France in the department, offers amateur cyclists the chance to indulge their passion on the Pyrenean roads made famous by the Grand Loop.
Twenty-eight years later, it has become the benchmark Pyrenean event for cyclosportifs from all over the world, and the 5th biggest cyclosportive race in France.
