Etang Pinet mountain refuge. In the heart of the Montcalm massif, this mountain refuge is located on the banks of the Etang du Pinet, a magnificent viewpoint over the granite valley of the Artigue...

It's the perfect stop-off point for climbing the Montcalm (3077m) and Pique d'Estats (3143m) peaks. From here, a 360° view of the Vicdessos valley and Spain awaits you. Janitor: Andréa Ribout Facilities : Common room - 4 dormitories (10/12/16 places) - blankets and pillows provided - Library and games - WC - Washbasins When not guarded, part of the refuge is open for self-catering, with a capacity of 18 people. A charge of €8 applies. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE!
