As well as a nighttime snowshoe walk under our beautiful starry sky in the Ariège Pyrenees.
A moment of peace, in the deep calm of the winter night.
An exceptional moment in every way, with Xavier your guide who will share with you his love of the mountains and his favorite anecdotes around a good fire, in the aroma of the meal which perfumes the atmosphere.
This activity extends over 2 days.
It does not present any difficulty, to be able to undertake it you just need to be
able to walk with snowshoes for at least one hour.
The activity is intended for a group of 3 to 6 people.
Day 1:
Presentation of the program and materials, organization of bags and checking of everyone's equipment.
We have lunch together before leaving, picnic or possibility of catering at the station bar, then start of the hike to reach the site where we will spend the night.
Once arrived, we need to prepare our cozy nest by fetching wood for the fire, setting up the tent and building our igloo (depending on the snow cover) to spend the night.
Once the camp is ready, we still have to prepare our hot meal which could consist of grilled meats and a good hot soup, the opportunity to taste local products.
Depending on the mood, we can take a little night stroll under the stars before returning to our beds.
Walking time: 1 hour
Height difference: + 100m
Day 2:
Wake up and have a good breakfast surrounded by nature. Once we have packed up our things, we will put on our snowshoes for a walk that will take us to our picnic spot.
Then return to our starting point in the afternoon.
Walking time: 3 hours
Height difference: +100m
