On the Col du Chioula massif in Ariège, come and climb the Roc de Scaramus on snowshoes. At an altitude of 1861 metres, this summit is also known as the "Mont des Merveilles" (Mount of Wonders), thanks to its remarkable views over the Pyrenees and the valleys below Ax les Thermes and Prades.
It's an interesting route, with a section at the bottom of the valley and a beautiful descent along a ridge line.
