Due to the complexity of the Pyrenean subsoil, the thermo-mineral water from Ussat (Source de la Communauté) has unique physico-chemical characteristics. Its minerality and thermality (59°C) originate in the deep geological layers through which it passes over a period of tens of thousands of years.
Ussat water is said to be "sulfated, calcic and magnesian", as these are the predominant chemical elements. It is also silicate and oligo-metallic due to the many trace elements it contains, such as lithium.
Centuries of thermal treatment at Ussat-les-Bains have demonstrated that this water is antispasmodic, sedative, balancing, remineralizing and healing.
Situated in the immediate vicinity of Tarascon-sur-Ariège, in the heart of a 10-hectare wooded park, the Ussat-les-Bains spa is the ideal place to combat stress and take a new direction in rheumatology (back pain, osteoarthritis, sciatica, after-effects of trauma, etc.).
Naturally warm and soothing, Ussat's thermal water is used in traditional cures, but also forms the basis of fitness stays: relaxation, stress management, etc...
