Ax-les-Thermes is one of the few French spa resorts where you can take a cure all year round. Ax’s sulfuric and sodic thermal waters (77°C) have analgesic and decongestant properties. Axéenne, the name of the thermal water, is used for therapeutic purposes or for relaxation and recuperation.

Ussat-les-Bains is a charming resort, a source of health, where you can take a cure from March to November. The thermal waters of Ussat (56°C) are sulfated, calcic and magnesian.

Their virtues are antispamodic, sedative, balancing, remineralizing and healing.

At Ax-les-Thermes
In a 3-week contractual cure, Ax-les-Thermes treatments are based on the use of the hottest thermal water steam in the Pyrenees. Your cure can be a single ENT-Respiratory Tract or Rheumatology cure, or a double cure. Directed steam is one of our spa specialties. The Thermes du Modèle, part of the Résidence du Grand Tétras, welcomes you in cocooning mode from January to December. The Thermes du Teich, an emblematic building, welcomes you from late March to early November. The thermal reception is at your disposal before and upon your arrival.

There are also short, non-contracted formulas, thermal weeks or treatment discovery formulas. These formulas are ideal for testing or completing before or after your cure.

Thermalism is also for children
On a growing organism, the truly curative effect of a spa cure will very often prevent a pathology from becoming chronic. Thermal treatments are particularly well suited to children. At Ax-les-Thermes, it is mainly indicated for treating asthma, ear infections…

At Ussat-les-Bains
The Ussat thermal baths will enable you to follow a spa treatment recognized for centuries in the treatment of diseases of the nervous system.

The waters, naturally warm and beneficial, are used in traditional cures for the treatment of psychosomatic, neurological and gynecological affections.

At the heart of the resort, the Hôtel Thermal du Parc and the Residence Napoléon welcome you from March to November to an oasis of calm. Nearby is a pleasant, vast wooded park on the banks of the Ariège.

Thermal water for your well-being all year round
Les Bains du Couloubret is Ax-les-Thermes’ thermal water relaxation center. Sodium sulfate water at 38° is the ideal complement to a day’s skiing or hiking. For relaxation and recuperation, the baths’ red columns transport you to a Roman-style spa atmosphere. The Zen area offers a wide range of irresistible sculpting treatments.
