The 36th Challenge du Montcalm! Whatever your level, enjoy an unforgettable experience in the heart of the magnificent Pyrenean landscapes.

Since 1990, the Challenge du Montcalm has been offering legendary races that attract runners from all over the world. Follow in the footsteps of the PICaPICA, a legendary race covering 109 km and 11500 m of positive altitude difference, crossing France and Andorra at altitudes of over 3000 m! Discover its little sister, the PicAriège, which follows the same route over 70 km. Or take on the Marathon du Montcalm, a demanding 40 km, 2750 m D+ challenge that will take you to the roof of Ariège and Catalonia. The Trails des Mineurs and des Novis will take you through the valley's magnificent villages, while the KV kicks off the festivities with its impressive verticality: 1080m D+ over 3.4km! Looking for a more festive atmosphere? The Trail by Night awaits you with its DJ and runners in fancy dress for an unforgettable night-time experience!

⚠️ In accordance with requests from the authorities to guarantee the safety of participants, access to the Soulcem and Lartigue areas will be strictly reserved for authorized vehicles.
The road will be closed from Marc :
Friday August 15 for Soulcem from 7am to 8pm
Saturday August 16 for L'Artigue from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
