With old disco records in the trunk of her Twingo, still reeling from her grandmother’s death, Charlie hits the road. She doesn’t yet know that these records will bring her mother’s dance moves back to life in the teary eyes of Titou, a dreamy wine merchant, nor that a deserted Mediterranean beach will be the setting for her encounter with Marina, who dreams of her ideal of freedom in the village pizzeria.
