Description
Whether with family or friends, come admire the last rays of sunlight at the Plateau de Beille during the near-total solar eclipse. The show continues after dark: star-gazing, laser pointers, shooting stars...
Arrival at the Nordic village of Angaka at 6:30 p.m. After a short walk across the high meadows of the Beille Plateau, you’ll settle in on the lawn on a foam mattress and a blanket (provided). Shared drinks at sunset while waiting for the eclipse.
The eclipse begins at 7:30 PM: The sun dims and plays hide-and-seek with the Moon. The eclipse ends at 9:15 PM.
Comfortably settled in, the journey continues. A journey through time and space, as night falls, you’ll learn to identify the major constellations in our latitudes (laser show). And since the calendar has worked out perfectly, you’ll admire the countless shooting stars of the Perseids, which coincide with the eclipse. The full package! This activity is presented by Isabelle CORBIERES, an amateur astronomer and geologist with a passion for science.
